As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: "Who is Salt?"

| I'm curious as to why a few people have negatively reviewed this movie, especially since the first two reviews were posted BEFORE the movie was even released. I just got back from watching this and can say that it is by far the best film I've seen in a long time. The storyline was near perfect and kept you guessing the entire time. Angelina did an amazing job as Evelyn Salt. This movie lacked nothing in terms of plot and storyline and couldn't have been written better. Go see it! | |
